Urban Live Online - Marching Bands

One of the most fascinating experiences we can have as human beings is watching people perform "without a net". Be it the circus, theater in the round or a concert, we marvel at the talent and discipline it takes to bring that experience to life. It is indeed unfortunate that those experiences are becoming harder to find because the level of mastery required to create them is fast disappearing. This is because the number of teachers with the requisite skills-set necessary to impart this knowledge is dwindling and there is little reward for the aspiring artist to engage in the serious study of music, theater or art when a sample or loop will suffice. This is not to say that there cannot be wonderful, even magical collaborations using technology in conjunction with performance. It is our hope that through "Urban Live" we can nurture the partnership so that technology does not replace artistry.
